Job summary

Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with a client nursing home in North Co Dublin, is seeking registered nurses to deliver high-quality care to residents. Roles require NMBI registration or progress toward it, English proficiency, and 6 months post-graduate nursing experience.

Holders of EU passports or Stamp 4/Stamp 1G are eligible; good communication, team work, and a commitment to high standards of care are essential. Competitive salary & training opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Minimum 6 months post graduate nursing experience.
• Full NMBI registration or in progress to obtain it.
• Good level of English.
• Experience in elderly care or nursing home setting is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Commitment to high standards of care and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred care to residents in accordance with best practice and regulatory standards.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed with accurate documentation.
• Monitor and assess residents’ health status and respond to changes promptly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, therapists, and care assistants.
• Maintain accurate nursing records and care plans.
• Support residents with daily activities and promote independence where possible.
• Ensure HIQA standards and NMBI guidelines compliance.
• Participate in audits, training and CPD.
• Provide leadership and guidance to healthcare assistants and junior staff.
