Role Overview

We are looking for a structurally confident Structural Engineer with 7+ years of experience to lead design work across major capital frameworks in healthcare, education, and critical infrastructure. The role involves Eurocode‑based design, structural analysis, on‑site problem solving, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Core Capabilities

• 7+ years’ experience working as a structural engineer on a broad range of developments
• Experience with Eurocodes, ideally with work experience in Ireland, the UK or Europe
• Ability to develop and nurture relationships with colleagues, design team members, clients and contractors
• Solid technical and analytical skills with demonstrable problem‑solving abilities
• Experience attending site and carrying out inspections in accordance with BCAR is desirable
• Good IT skills and experience with structural analysis packages (such as MasterSeries, Tedd’s, Robot, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent time‑management skills
• Interested in continuous professional development and learning
• Full driver’s licence desirable and valid work permit to work in Ireland

Qualifications & Experience

• Masters or Honours Degree (Level 8+) in Structural Engineering
• Aspiration to become Chartered with Engineers Ireland/IStructE in the near future

Working Environment

This role is based in Dublin, Cork, Galway or Kilkenny, with hybrid working and agile office arrangements offered as standard. Office attendance will be balanced to meet project and client needs, while supporting flexible working for work‑life balance. Travel to client sites, planning authority meetings and project locations across Ireland will be required on an occasional basis.
