Howdens Joinery is seeking a Regional Maintenance Technician to travel across Dublin depots, installing and refreshing showroom displays and carrying out general maintenance. You will help create a safe, professional, welcoming environment for colleagues and customers.

Role involves visiting multiple depots, performing carpentry, painting, fixture replacement, and furniture installation while ensuring adherence to health & safety standards.

Qualificações

• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel across depots.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety practices.
• Experience in practical roles such as carpentry, shopfitting, or maintenance.

Responsabilidades

• Travel to depots across the region to install and refresh showroom displays.
• Carry out showroom refresh projects to maximise sales opportunities.
• Perform general depot maintenance tasks including minor carpentry, painting, and fixture replacement.
• Assemble and install furniture and office equipment; maintain storage and facilities.
• Conduct regular depot inspections and report hazards; purchase maintenance materials as needed.

What you’ll be doing: * Travel to depots across the region to install, update, and relocate showroom displays in line with company standards.* Carry out showroom refresh projects, ensuring displays are presented to an excellent standard and maximise sales opportunities.* Complete general depot maintenance tasks as required, including:* Minor carpentry repairs* Painting and touch-up work* Replacing damaged fixtures, fittings, shelving, and display units* Assembling and installing furniture and office equipment* Maintaining storage, warehouse, and staff facilities* Conduct regular inspections of depot facilities and report any defects or hazards.* Purchase maintenance materials and supplies where required and approved by the Depot Manager.* Work in line with Health & Safety Regulations at all times to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for customers and employees.
