Winthrop Technologies Ltd. is seeking an experienced Regional EHS Manager to support expanding European operations. The role involves regular travel to project sites across Europe and base location in a major European city.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with the Safety Management System, coordinating risk assessments, audits and incident investigations, and promoting a proactive safety culture across projects and functions. Data centre construction experience is highly desirable.

Qualificações

• Third-level qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety or NEBOSH is essential.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience managing EHS on large-scale construction projects.
• Data centre construction experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of current EHS legislation and best practice.
• Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent communication, reporting and IT skills.
• Experience managing EHS reporting systems and documentation.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple projects and travel across Europe.

• Conduct site audits and inspections; document findings and close corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection registers for plant, equipment and tools.
• Promote a proactive safety culture across projects and functions.
• Ensure subcontractors comply with EHS policies and standards.
• Ensure adequate PPE and welfare provisions on site.
• Deliver toolbox talks, training and safety awareness programmes.
• Lead or support accident and incident investigations and reporting.
• Maintain welfare, hygiene and environmental controls at a high standard.
• Maintain Safety File documentation and ensure records are current.
• Attend daily coordination meetings and monitor waste management.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Regional EHS Manager to support our expanding operations across Europe. This position can be based in a major European city and will involve regular travel to project sites throughout the region.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with the Winthrop Safety Management System across multiple projects.
• Monitor adherence to all applicable Environmental, Health & Safety legislation and statutory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with PSCS Environmental, Health & Safety Plans.
• Coordinate task-specific Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and Permit-to-Work procedures.
• Support project teams in delivering works in line with project execution plans.
• Ensure safety observations and interventions are completed, recorded and actioned.
• Conduct regular site audits and inspections, documenting findings and managing corrective actions through to closure.
• Maintain statutory inspection registers and ensure all plant, equipment and tools comply with regulatory requirements.
• Promote a proactive safety culture across all projects and business functions.
• Ensure subcontractors comply with project and company EHS policies, procedures and standards.
• Ensure adequate PPE and welfare provisions are available and maintained on site.
• Deliver toolbox talks, training initiatives and safety awareness programmes.
• Lead or support accident and incident investigations, ensuring timely reporting and communication to project stakeholders.
• Ensure welfare, hygiene and environmental controls are maintained to the highest standard.
• Maintain Safety File documentation and ensure records remain current throughout the project lifecycle.
• Attend daily coordination meetings and activity briefings.
• Monitor waste management, recycling and environmental sustainability initiatives in line with project requirements.

• Relevant third-level qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety or a NEBOSH qualification is essential.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience managing EHS on large-scale construction projects.
• Previous experience within data centre construction is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of current Environmental, Health & Safety legislation and industry best practice.
• Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent communication, reporting and IT skills.
• Experience managing EHS reporting systems and documentation.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
