A leading construction firm in Limerick is seeking a Recruiter to support their hiring efforts. This role involves candidate sourcing, screening, and management in the construction sector, requiring 2-3 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and knowledge of IT recruitment platforms. This position is fully office-based for the first six months and offers occasional nationwide travel for site visits.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Internal Engagement – Consult with Directors, HR and managers nationwide to match them with the right candidates after fully screening relevant applicants.
  • Candidate Sourcing, Screening & Support – Interview and assess candidates to ensure they meet the relevant hiring manager’s criteria.
  • Candidate Management – Track and support candidates before and after onboarding, including but not limited to relevant administration, references and any further follow up as outlined by management.
  • Candidate performance check in’s after onboarding to support long-term success.
  • Compliance – Ensure all workers have the necessary qualifications (e.g., Visa’s, Safe Pass, Manual Handling, educational requirements such as degrees, certs etc).
  • Nationwide Management – Build strong relationships with all stakeholders involved in recruitment, such as Project Directors, Contracts Managers, Site Managers and Project Managers etc.
  • Business Development – Identify and secure new to candidates through a variety of platforms, LinkedIn, referrals etc. Maintaining a database of candidates engaged with for interviews by managers.
  • KPIs – Work towards placements on a quarterly basis, to be agreed on an ongoing basis.
  • Industry Expertise – Continuously expand your knowledge and network within the construction sector.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 -3 years’ experience in recruitment with a strong knowledge of construction and the building services industry is a must. We are ideally seeking a recruiter from the construction industry.
  • Excellent communication, both written and spoken English is essential.
  • A solid knowledge of IT systems and job platforms is required to create and manage job postings on various recruitment platforms and the company’s website to attract qualified candidates.

This role is fully office based for the first 6 months at a minimum and is based in our head office in Limerick, occasional travel to some sites nationwide may apply.
