Job summary

Beacon Hospitals is seeking a Clinical Facilitator for the Radiology department to enhance educational programmes and clinical practice. The role focuses on supporting Radiographers’ development, coordinating training, and ensuring adherence to CORU and hospital standards.

The facilitator will lead education initiatives, supervise practice, and collaborate with Radiology managers to implement policy and CPD plans, maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be CORU registered with a minimum of 6 years post-qualification experience.
• Postgraduate Course in Radiography is desirable.
• Experience in teaching and assessing Radiographers in clinical settings is desirable.
• Evidence of teaching practice in the clinical setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the Clinical Practice and education development for Radiology staff.
• Coordinate education programmes and staff development activities.
• Assist in development of policies, protocols and clinical competencies and their implementation.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and chair meetings as required to foster learning.
• Promote evidence-based practice to maintain high-quality patient care and safety.
