Turmec is seeking an R&D Engineer to drive research, development and the continuous improvement of products and solutions in the recycling and material handling sector.

You will design, prototype, test and implement innovative concepts, collaborating with Engineering, Production, Sales and Supply Chain to deliver manufacturable solutions that improve performance and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in mechanical design, product development, or R&D.
• Strong mechanical design and engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with CREO and/or SolidWorks is desirable.
• Experience in prototype development and design validation is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Research and develop current products and new technologies for recycling and material handling.
• Design components and equipment using 3D CAD; produce detailed models and drawings.
• Plan, coordinate and conduct prototype builds, trials and testing.
• Analyse results and optimise performance, reliability and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with production and supply chain to ensure designs are manufacturable.
