Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, ideally within construction or precast manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing full precast frame quotations.
  • Monitor live projects and track financial performance.
  • Submit monthly applications to clients for valuations and payments.
  • Liaise with various departments on project-related issues and variations.
  • Support in identifying, managing, and negotiating project variations.
  • Ensure accuracy in cost reporting and contract management.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join our expanding team at Kilsaran Precast. This role presents a superb chance for a Graduate QS to gain valuable industry experience or for a Junior QS with 2-3 years of experience to further develop their career.

As a Quantity Surveyor with Kilsaran Precast, you will play a vital role in assisting our surveying team with project cost management, estimation, and financial planning. This position offers exposure to a variety of projects within the precast construction sector and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing full precast frame quotations.

Skills Required

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Cubit Estimating Software is beneficial but not essential.
