Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the food industry in a quality/technical role.
• Strong working knowledge of BRC, GMP, and HACCP standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance food safety and quality management systems.
• Manage and update product specifications and quality procedures.
• Act as a key technical contact for customers and suppliers.
• Lead investigations into customer complaints.
• Oversee supplier quality and non-conformance reports.
• Support and participate in audits, responding to non-conformances.
• Coordinate product sample analysis and maintain traceability.
• Review Certificates of Analysis and liaise with suppliers.
• Develop knowledge of the ERP system and support quality projects.
• Contribute to sustainability initiatives.

Skills
