Job summary

Abbott Kilkenny Diabetes Care site seeks a Quality Reviewer to ensure products are manufactured, handled and tested in line with regulatory requirements. You will support GMP compliance, material control and overall product quality, reviewing documentation prior to batch disposition.

Key responsibilities include lot release review, SAP transactions, CAPA collaboration, and audits of materials and documentation. Strong attention to detail and experience in a regulated environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum NFQ Level 6 qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time‑management and organisational skills.
• Experience managing internal stakeholders.
• Experience in SAP is an advantage but not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Determine lot suitability for release by reviewing test results against product specifications.
• Assess cumulative impact of lot deviations, non‑conformances and supporting documentation.
• Release product by performing required transactions in SAP, including material status updates.
• Support Quality Operations and CAPA teams in identifying quarantined lots within SAP.
• Audit materials and documentation through inspection, measurement or testing of raw materials, components and sub‑assemblies.
• Gain a strong understanding of the manufacturing process, system applications and critical process steps.
• Carry out GMP walks, material verification checks and quality oversight activities within the Warehouse, ensuring proper storage, segregation and handling.
• Review manufacturing and material documentation to support validation and quality decisions.
• Communicate issues relating to product release or documentation promptly to relevant personnel.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams by meeting regularly, responding to queries and clarifying procedures.
