Advanced Couplings Ltd., part of Ideal Tridon Group, is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our Roscommon site. You will lead QA across the site, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards.

The role involves implementing ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, overseeing audits, collaborating with internal teams, suppliers and customers, and traveling to support audits across EMEA.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in quality assurance and EHS management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or Quality Management.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and EHS regulations.
  • Experience with Six Sigma, Lean and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Analytical, problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and team-building skills.
  • Ability to develop and manage training programmes.

Advanced Couplings Ltd. as part of Ideal Tridon Group is a global leader in flow control solutions for the pharmaceutical, food & beverage and Data Centre sectors. We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our team based in Roscommon. This role will be responsible for ensuring that our operations, products, processes and working environment meet the highest standards of quality, safety and environmental compliance.

The successful candidate will lead quality assurance activity across the site, support continuous improvement, work closely with internal teams, suppliers and customers, and ensure compliance with relevant quality and EHS standards. Travel will be required for training and to support audits and quality activities across other EMEA sites.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Management System:

  • Develop, implement and manage the company’s Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
  • Oversee internal audits, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve quality and EHS processes across the business.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.

3. Quality Control:

  • Oversee quality control processes including sampling, inspections, testing and quality audits to ensure product conformity.
  • Implement corrective actions, analyse trends and put preventative measures in place to reduce quality issues.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records relating to quality and EHS activity, including audits, incidents, corrective actions and performance metrics.
  • Prepare and present reports on key quality and EHS metrics to senior management.
  • Lead, mentor and support the quality team, setting clear performance goals and supporting professional development.
  • Build strong working relationships across departments to embed quality and EHS practices throughout the organisation.

6. Supplier and Customer Quality Liaison:

  • Collaborate with suppliers and customers to address quality issues and maintain product standards.
  • Conduct supplier audits where required and support corrective actions to ensure ongoing compliance and performance.Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, ensuring appropriate response plans are in place for potential EHS incidents.
  • Support drills, reviews and ongoing activity to reinforce safe working practices and quality standards.

8. Travel Requirement:

  • Travel will be required for training, audits and support activity across other EMEA sites.
  • The successful candidate must be comfortable travelling as part of the role where business needs require.

9. Additional Responsibilities:

  • Take on additional duties as required, where they are within the general scope and purpose of the role.
  • Support wider business objectives through a proactive, collaborative and quality-focused approach.

Key Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality assurance and EHS management, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Excellent communication, leadership and team-building skills.
  • Ability to develop and manage training programmes.
  • Ability to spend time in a manufacturing or industrial environment, including walking, standing and occasional lifting.
  • Strong leadership with the ability to influence and engage teams across departments.
  • Practical, solutions-focused approach to quality, compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Clear communication style with strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
