Job summary

GxP Recruitment is seeking a Quality Engineer in County Galway to uphold the company’s quality system and regulatory compliance within a medical device context. You will analyze test results, resolve complex quality issues, and contribute to product quality decisions alongside the QA team.

The role requires 3–5 years of engineering experience in a highly regulated setting, familiarity with internal audits, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • A Level 8 Degree (240 Credits) in Engineering or Science.
  • 3–5 years’ experience at engineering level, preferably in medical devices or a highly regulated environment.
  • Familiar with Internal Audit Processes.
  • Team player with motivation to achieve best practices aligned to department/site objectives.
  • Operations experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies and resolves complex exceptions to work assignments.
  • Summarizes, analyses, draws conclusions and makes decisions from test results or other findings.
  • Has authority to disposition non-conforming product.
  • Participates in customer complaints investigations for areas under their control.
  • Drives continual quality improvements in product and process.
