Job summary

• Minimum NFQ Level 7 required.
• Degree in Engineering/Science or related discipline with at least 1 year of direct science/engineering experience in a medical device environment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Practical knowledge of statistical data analysis, problem solving and quality improvement tools.
• Technical writing skills.
• Ability to multi-task and take initiative.
• Effective time management and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality standards and protocol for releasing finished sterilised product under supervision.
• Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing to ensure quality standards.
• Prepares/ reviews NCMRs/CAPAs and investigations with QA direction.
• Ensures effective product controls when issues arise.
• Ensures corrective actions meet reliability standards and are well documented.
• Contributes to continuous improvement activities.
• Ensures compliance with department, site procedures, and regulations.
• Supports internal and external audit preparation and activity.
