Job summary

Back4good in Ireland is seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Quality Control Technician to join its Quality Assurance and Control team. This role involves contributing to world-class quality standards in a highly regulated environment.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemistry or a related field, with at least two years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Responsibilities include performing analytical tests, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting process improvements.

Pharmaceutical Quality Control Technician

Back 4 Good – Your future in Ireland is currently working with a leading pharmaceutical organisation to source experienced Pharmaceutical Quality Control Technicians to join its expanding Quality Assurance and Quality Control team.

This is an excellent opportunity for motivated professionals to contribute to the delivery of world‑class quality standards within a highly regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting QC and QA operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while maintaining the highest standards of product quality and patient safety.

You will perform a range of analytical testing activities, assist in the development and continuous improvement of quality systems, and ensure all laboratory and manufacturing practices comply with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP), Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and Health & Safety requirements. You will work closely with production, engineering, validation, and quality teams to investigate issues, implement corrective actions, and support ongoing process improvements.

Applicants should hold a degree in Chemistry, Biochemical Science, or a related scientific discipline, together with a minimum of two years’ experience within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in a production or quality control environment. Experience in aseptic or sterile manufacturing and strong expertise in pharmaceutical analytical techniques are highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive, positive approach to problem‑solving, excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues across multiple departments.
