Job description

We take great pride in our vast range of biological, chemical and biochemical products, and our high standards are maintained through great people, who share our values, and want to do the very best job possible, every day.

We acknowledge the important part our team members, who are based over three continents with manufacturing laboratories in Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Slovakia and China, and distribution centres in the United States, play, in our continued success.

Are you a detail-driven quality professional who takes pride in getting the data right, every single time? We're looking for a Quality Control Specialist to join our Biologics division and play a vital role in keeping our products accurate, compliant, and customer-ready — across a global operation.

What you'll be doing
  • Create and maintain technical specification sheets across our global locations
  • Produce batch-specific Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for the Biologics division and wider group
  • Track, correct, and safeguard the accuracy of order-processing information
  • Partner with Warehouse and Purchasing to get technical sheets and COAs where they're needed, when they're needed
  • Review and enhance our quality systems and documentation processes
  • Work with Biologics data sets to support customer and commercial teams
  • Support QA and Sales with technical customer queries and complaint investigations
  • Manage batches, inventory, and incoming product data accuracy
  • Use Excel and Power BI to monitor and align product data across multiple programmes
  • Generate custom COAs for customers with specific supplier agreements
  • Monitor non-conforming product and support ISO procedures
What you'll bring
  • Relevant experience in a similar role would be preferred
  • Fluent English (C1) and confident Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent time management and social skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A Bachelor's in Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field (preferred if no relevant experience)
  • Experience with Power BI, LIMS, SAP, MS Outlook, Teams, or M-Files is a bonus
  • Occasional travel may be required, so the ability for this is needed

You will be a key player in a role with real scope and visibility — working across departments and geographies, close to the science, and directly shaping the quality standards our customers rely on.
