Job summary

Silent-Aire Europe seeks a Quality Control Inspector to check, document and troubleshoot ensuring our products meet high production standards. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to discuss inspection results with production personnel are essential. Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to design new inspection sheets for designs are required. Training will be provided.

• Third level qualification in an engineering discipline – Mechanical or Mechatronics.

Responsibilities

• Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement checks; communicating required adjustments or rework to production supervisor.
• Generating iAuditor inspection reports and collaborating with the production team to close out items promptly.
• Creating quality check sheets and standards for new products.
• Teamwork, mentoring and liaising with the production, electrical, plumbing & stores teams to meet client standards.
• Working with engineering and production to implement more efficient manufacturing processes.
• Engage and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
• Model and maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; comply with legal regulations.
• Complete tasks to support the quality management system and organisational mission.

The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, an ability to discussand influence inspectionresults with those responsible for product manufacture. An ability to devise and develop new inspection check sheets for new designs will be essential. We are looking for a methodical and highly organised person with a very keen eye for detail and a result driven approach. The candidate should also be proficient with MS Office. Training will be provided for the successful candidate.

How you will do it
