Job summary

Phibro Animal Health Corporation in Ireland - Sligo is seeking a QC Analyst to support testing of product samples, including raw materials and finished goods, and to ensure SOP compliance. The role covers instrument operation, data recording, and method validation activities.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of a honours degree in a technical discipline, 3+ years in a GMP laboratory, and experience with vaccine-related assays such as ELISA or PCR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with GMP lab exposure.
• Minimum 3 years of industry experience in a GMP laboratory.
• Experience with vaccines and viral titration, ELISA and PCR testing is advantageous.
• Experience authoring, reviewing and executing method validations and reports.
• Experience in laboratory investigations, deviations and change controls.
• Gowning and entering cleanrooms experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand and support testing of product samples including raw materials, intermediates and finished goods.
• Perform laboratory tests per SOPs.
• Record analytical results accurately.
• Operate and calibrate laboratory instruments.
• Create or update documentation to support QC Laboratory (SOPs, work instructions, protocols).
• Execute microbiological/product method validations as needed for qualification programs.
• Perform bioburden and endotoxin analyses per SOPs.
• When required, perform virus neutralization and viral titration analyses per SOPs.
• Support sample analysis for microbial identification.
• Conduct laboratory investigations and generate reports for invalid assays, deviations, OOS/OOT.
• Present analytical data/trend reports to management.
• Sampling and testing to support qualification and re-validation of utilities and cleanrooms.
• Ensure CGMP/GLP standards are maintained and schedules met for regulatory needs.
• Support pilot scale vaccine manufacturing processes for proof-of-concept and optimization trials.
• Other duties as required.
