RECRUITERS is seeking a QC Microbiology Analyst to join a pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Carlow. This is a great opportunity to build on your laboratory experience, work within a GMP-regulated environment and contribute to the quality and safety of pharmaceutical products.

You will be part of a collaborative QC team, supporting environmental and utilities monitoring, microbiological testing, investigations and contamination control, with exposure to LIMS/GLIMS advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in Microbiology or Life Sciences.
• Hands-on microbiology testing experience.
• GMP knowledge and data integrity understanding.
• Exposure to environmental/utilities monitoring preferred.

Responsabilités

• Carrying out and supporting environmental monitoring and utilities monitoring activities.
• Reviewing microbiological results and helping identify trends or potential issues.
• Supporting contamination investigations, risk assessments and quality improvement projects.
• Assisting with microbiological testing, method validation and troubleshooting.
• Preparing laboratory documentation, reports, deviations and change controls.
• Ensuring testing and records meet GMP, regulatory and data integrity requirements.
• Using electronic laboratory systems to record and manage results.
• Working closely with QC, QA and Manufacturing teams to maintain high quality standards.

What we’re looking for

• A degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Science or another relevant Life Sciences discipline.
• Hands-on experience in microbiology laboratory testing, ideally within pharmaceutical or another GMP-regulated environment.
• Exposure to environmental monitoring, utilities monitoring or contamination control.
• An understanding of GMP, laboratory documentation and data integrity.
• Experience with LIMS/GLIMS is an advantage, but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
