Job summary

Medtronic in Ireland is seeking a Quality Engineer to support the product value stream by maintaining quality standards and regulatory compliance across manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality teams to drive investigations, data analysis and continuous improvement, while ensuring materials and equipment meet specs.

The role requires a Level 8 degree in Engineering or science, strong problem-solving skills, and experience with SAP, IQ/OQ/PQ and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or a technical field is required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a risk-based approach to quality issues.
Experience with cross-functional teams and proactive collaboration.
Knowledge of quality systems and validated processes (IQ/OQ/PQ) is advantageous.
Experience with Agile and SAP is beneficial.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Supports development and maintenance of quality standards for manufacturing processes.
Collaborates with Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality teams to ensure compliance.
Assists in inspections, material releases and regulatory requirements.
Participates in investigations and problem-solving to address quality issues.
Supports audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
