Qualifications

Job description

Quality Specialist

Guarantee that the production unit operates in the respect of quality standards determined and respecting product features. Control that outsourced activities are performed in accordance with quality standards required by the production unit.

Issuing / Updating of Quality Control Instruction for the Production Line
  • Issues, distributes and keeps updated and available to the auto-control operators and to any involved person, the required auto-control quality instructions and related forms, in relation to the production lines under competence.
  • Verify that those conditions are constantly guaranteed.
  • Provides to Third Parties Manufacturers, adequate - updated instructions and quality control forms.
Training for Auto-Control Employees
  • Plans, organizes, provides and assess results for training to auto-control employees and for outsourcers, in terms of quality control, to be executed on production lines.
  • Supports operators to verify that the auto-control activities are put in place correctly.

Handle traceability of training provided.

Tasting and Sensory Analysis
  • Guarantees tasting activities along the production line, for product under competence (taster’s list, reporting, training).
Checking Auto-Control and Support to Production / Third Party Manufacturers
  • Regularly supervises auto-control activities performed by operators on the production line.
  • Re-performs, under its own discretion, samples’ controls, performing, at least on a weekly basis, a full control activity, by re-performing all quality controls predicted by auto-control.
Skills:
  • Relevant experience in a GMP food safety related field
  • Prior experience in food industry is preferred.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of quality assurance systems, methods and procedures
