Premier Irish Homes is seeking a Qualified Plumber to join our Capital Works/Property Upgrades team. You will perform full and partial replumbing, install domestic water systems, and undertake oil boiler/heating work across Limerick/Tipperary with regular travel to the West and South.

The role is field-based and requires safety compliance and documentation. Requires at least 3 years post-qualification residential plumbing experience, a valid B driving license, and fluency in English.

Responsabilités

Role Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Plumber to join our Capital Works / Property Upgrades team. This role will focus on property renovations and property upgrades, including full and partial house re-plumbs, domestic plumbing installations, and associated heating works such as fitting and replacing oil boilers. The role is field-based, covering Limerick/Tipperary with regular travel West and South, delivering high-quality workmanship while ensuring full compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Replumbing & Renovations: Carry out full and partial replumbing of houses, including first-fix and second-fix plumbing in renovation and upgrade projects.
• Residential Plumbing: Install, repair and upgrade domestic hot and cold-water systems, pipework, valves, fittings and fixtures to a high standard.
• Oil Boiler / Heating Works: Fit and replace oil boilers and associated heating components (pipework, circulating pumps, motorised valves, cylinders, radiators and controls).
• Heating System Upgrades: Install/upgrade cylinders, expansion vessels, pressure systems, thermostats, TRVs and heating controls.
• Fault Finding & Repairs: Diagnose and resolve plumbing/heating issues efficiently (leaks, blockages, low pressure, circulation issues, appliance faults, etc.).
• Bathrooms & Kitchens: Install sanitaryware, taps, showers, pumps, and associated plumbing connections to a high standard.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with safety regulations; complete required job records and photo documentation.
• Customer & Site Coordination: Liaise professionally with tenants/homeowners, site teams, subcontractors and management to schedule works and minimise disruption.
• Health & Safety: Follow PIH safety procedures, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and use PPE and equipment correctly at all times.

Skills and Requirements:

• Qualified Plumber (trade qualification/apprenticeship or equivalent proven competence).
• Residential plumbing experience with at least 3 years of being qualified (required).
• Proven experience in domestic plumbing, heating installations, boiler changeovers (oil) and renovation works.
• Strong knowledge of tools, equipment, materials and best-practice installation/repair techniques.
• Ability to complete works to programme deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Valid driver's license. (B Licence)
• Comfortable using mobile apps/technology for job updates, photos and compliance documentation.
• Willingness to travel: West & South (required).
