Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Qualified Person (QP) based in Ireland. The role involves ensuring GMP compliance, performing QP certifications, and developing quality systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GMP for medicinal products with experience in consultancy or manufacturing. This position offers flexibility with remote working options.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and application of GMP for investigational medicinal products and commercial products.
  • Experience in consultancy, CDMO, or manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance with GMP across client operations.
  • Perform QP certification for investigational and commercial batches.
  • Develop and maintain robust quality systems.
  • Contribute to inspection readiness and audit support.
  • Collaborate closely with Quality Managers and wider quality teams.
  • Manage assigned client projects, maintaining timelines and quality standards.
  • Support business development activities with a focus on IMP-related services.
  • Identify and grow opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
  • Contribute to company strategy alongside senior leadership.

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Qualified Person (QP) to join a growing team supporting both investigational and commercial medicinal products. This is a unique role offering a blend of technical responsibility and business development engagement, ideal for a QP who enjoys both operational and strategic work.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure full compliance with GMP across client operations
  • Perform QP certification for investigational and commercial batches
  • Develop and maintain robust quality systems
  • Contribute to inspection readiness and audit support
  • Collaborate closely with Quality Managers and wider quality teams

About You
  • Eligible to act as a Qualified Person under EU Directive 2001/83/EC
  • Strong knowledge and application of GMP for IMPs and commercial products
  • Experience working with clients in a consultancy, CDMO or manufacturing environment
  • Comfortable working independently and within cross-functional teams
