Job summary

MSD Malaysia in Dunboyne, County Meath, Ireland is seeking a QC Lab Intern to support testing on in-process drug substance/drug product, final drug products and stability samples at our state-of-the-art biotech facility.

You will work across self-directed teams to ensure GMP compliance, assist with analytical/microbiology/biochemistry & cell biology methods, and help deliver on quality, safety and continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Science/Quality/Technical disciplines.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of cGMP requirements for manufacturing and/or systems and compliance.
• Ability to work independently in addition to being part of a team.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and escalate issues when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine Analytical/Microbiology/Biochemistry & Cell Biology testing in GMP conditions.
• Follow all relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
• Observe GLP/cGMP at all times.
• Review Analytical Testing data.
• Support lab readiness, audits, equipment qualification and method transfer.
