QC Lab Assistant – Cork

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Lab Assistant to support the daily operations of the QC laboratory as required by Good Manufacturing practices (GMP’s).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Conduct routine cleaning and sanitization of laboratory equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform scheduled maintenance activities on laboratory instruments and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Document all cleaning and maintenance activities accurately in logs and reports.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GMP, GDP).
  • Support laboratory personnel with general housekeeping tasks as needed.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
  • Analytical instrument qualification, as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good understanding of laboratory safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and SOPs.
  • Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
  • Maintain a focus on patients and customers at all times.
  • Completed Ordinary Bachelor’s Degree in a Scientific discipline.
