Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics in Ireland is seeking a QC Analyst I to perform routine quality control testing and support documentation for materials and finished products in a regulated lab environment.

The role reports to the QC Supervisor/Manager and is based on-site near Tulla in Lismeehan, O'Callaghan's Mills, Co. Clare. A Bachelor's degree in a science field and lab experience are required, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to work on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology, or related discipline.
• Laboratory experience gained through academic, internship, placement, or industry setting.
• Experience following written laboratory procedures, test methods, or controlled documentation.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work on-site in a regulated laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine QC laboratory testing in accordance with approved procedures, test methods, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Prepare reagents, standards, samples, and laboratory materials required to support scheduled testing.
• Complete laboratory records, worksheets, logbooks, and electronic entries accurately and in compliance with Good Documentation Practice.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, consumables, and work areas in an inspection-ready state.
• Support basic laboratory investigations, assay troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities under supervision.
