Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, part of Danaher, is seeking a QC Analyst I for an 18-month fixed-term contract near Tulla, Co. Clare, Ireland. You will perform routine QC testing, prepare reagents, and maintain documentation to ensure compliant product quality and patient safety.

The role requires a Science degree and familiarity with common QC lab equipment; travel is not routine. On-site work with opportunity to support a busy diagnostic quality control team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology, or a related discipline.
• Experience with laboratory equipment such as analytical balances, pH meters, pipettes, incubators, plate readers, or similar QC equipment.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine QC laboratory testing in accordance with approved procedures, test methods, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Prepare reagents, standards, samples, and laboratory materials required to support scheduled testing.
• Complete laboratory records, worksheets, logbooks, and electronic entries accurately and in compliance with Good Documentation Practice.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, consumables, and work areas in an inspection-ready state.
