Job summary

GE Healthcare in Cork, Ireland, is seeking a QA Specialist to manage QA systems and support QP batch release for X-ray and MRI contrast media. You will work within the QA Product Quality team to ensure compliance with GMP and QMS while driving improvements and document control.

The role requires a degree in Science or Engineering and strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced pharma environment.

Qualifications

• A degree-level qualification in Science / Engineering discipline or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Previous relevant QA/QC GMP experience in a pharmaceutical environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure GMP, QMS, site policies and regulatory requirements are met.
• Partner with customers and stakeholders to deliver activities on time.
• Lead cross-functional teams to provide quality-related consultative support.
• Lead investigations and CAPA actions to prevent recurrence.
• Prepare and manage documentation including SOPs, changes, and batch release files.
• Manage metrics and forums to ensure delivery of site KPIs.
