Job summary

QCS Staffing in Limerick, Ireland, is seeking a QA Specialist (Quality Systems) to support a major Life Sciences expansion on an initial 12-month contract. The role ensures site-wide quality and GMP compliance across manufacturing, QC, validation, facilities, and materials management.

You will review investigations, CAPAs, SOPs, GxP records and change controls, lead investigations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and maintain regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong background in QC Testing and QC Systems (LIMS, Empower)
• Degree in a Scientific Discipline or equivalent experience
• Extensive GMP pharmaceutical/biotech experience in QA/QC/Quality Systems

Responsibilities

QA Specialist (Quality Systems) – Limerick, Ireland – Initial 12-Month Contract – Life Sciences

Ireland is a hive of activity for the Life Sciences Sector at present with global players setting up new and expanding existing manufacturing facilities all over the World. An exciting assignment has arisen to support a global pharmaceutical organisation on a major expansion project based in the picturesque Limerick on an initial 12 month contract.

What You’ll Deliver

• Ensure site-wide quality and GMP compliance across manufacturing, quality systems, QC, validation, facilities, and materials management.
• Review and approve key quality documentation, including investigations, CAPAs, SOPs, GxP records, and change controls.
• Lead and support investigations and root cause analysis, ensuring effective CAPAs are implemented to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and maintain regulatory compliance.

Experience required:

• The preference is for the individual to have a strong background in QC Testing and associated QC Systems – for example LIMS, Empower.
• Degree in a Scientific Discipline (or equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience).
• Extensive experience within a GMP pharmaceutical, biotech, or related regulated environment, depending on seniority level.
• Experience working within Quality Assurance, Quality Systems, or Quality Control functions.
• Strong understanding of GMP regulations and quality compliance requirements.
