Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a QA/QC Field Manager to join the MetroLink Quality Team in Ireland. You will lead site-based quality assurance and control activities, ensuring compliance with the Quality Management Plan across Dublin's MetroLink project.

You will review contractor plans, conduct inspections and audits, and drive corrective actions. A degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required, with strong communication and digital QMS experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA/QC on large-scale infrastructure, construction, or rail projects.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and construction quality management systems.
• Experience with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, audits, and quality documentation.
• Understanding of contractor quality processes and site-based QA activities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with digital quality management systems such as Aconex, BIM 360, ACC, or similar.
• Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of the MetroLink Quality Management Plan and QMS across site activities.
• Review contractor Quality Plans, ITPs, and method statements for compliance and readiness.
• Conduct site inspections, surveillance, and quality audits to verify works meet specifications.
• Monitor quality performance via inspections, test results, KPIs, and reporting.
• Manage quality records, NCRs, inspection reports, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with contractors, designers, and construction teams to resolve issues and drive improvement.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Contribute to audit readiness and engagement with regulators and stakeholders.
• Champion a culture of quality excellence across the MetroLink project.
