Job summary

SOTI is seeking an enthusiastic Quality Assurance Specialist Intern in Galway. You will design and document test scenarios, create test coverage for web and mobile apps, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment.

As a student in IT/CS, you will assist with test automation initiatives, log defects, and support senior QA colleagues while developing practical skills in a global tech setting.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in IT, Computer Science or a related program.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for designing test scenarios.
• Ability to troubleshoot, log defects and work with developers on resolutions.
• Interest in test automation and learning new tools to improve coverage.
• Support senior QA members and contribute to day‑to‑day testing activities.
• Write and maintain clear test cases for features.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and document test scenarios and test cases based on requirements and specs.
• Create and maintain test coverage for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with QA Analysts, Developers, UX Designers, Product Managers, and Scrum Masters in an Agile setup.
• Participate in sprint testing and exploratory testing to identify issues early.
• Log, track, and analyse defects and customer-reported issues, reporting progress.
• Contribute to QA process improvements for consistency across product lines.
