Job summary

Susquehanna International Group, LLP in Ireland is seeking a Python software engineer to build and maintain high-performance, latency-sensitive trading tooling used by quantitative researchers. You will contribute to fast data analysis, platform reliability and scalable data pipelines.

You will work with Traders and Researchers to enable new trading behaviours and continuously improve systems across the full development lifecycle in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or another technical field.
• Experience with distributed message-based systems and server-side software development with delivery track record.
• Proficient in Python and the Python data stack.
• Full SDLC experience and familiarity with agile development.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and propose solutions.
• Ability to self-manage, motivate, and improve processes.
• Strong communication skills with researchers and engineers.
• Attention to detail and adaptability to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Part of the Options trading strategy development team.
• Maintain and improve the Python platform for quantitative researchers to interact with trading systems.
• Collaborate with Traders, Researchers and other developers to enable new trading behaviours.
• Handle large datasets and maintain production-grade data pipelines.
