Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is hiring a Public Area Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of public hotel areas. You will work to the Dalata standard, assist other departments as needed, and support guest satisfaction through friendly service.

Training through the Dalata Academy will help you learn essential skills, with opportunities for internal progression as the company promotes from within.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rooms and general areas to the Dalata standard.
• Highlight any items or areas that need maintenance.
• Be open for work in other departments.
• Clean and maintain all public areas of the hotel to the Dalata standard.
• Ensure all public areas are clean, tidy, safe and well presented throughout the shift.
• Replenish supplies where required, including toilet paper, hand towels, soap and other guest/staff amenities.
• Support the Accommodation team with room cleaning or other duties when required.
• Be open to supporting other departments when needed.
• Provide a friendly and helpful service to guests and colleagues.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and presentation at all times.
• Follow all hotel health and safety procedures, including manual handling and chemical safety.
• The Public Area Cleaner role requires flexible working hours. Shifts will vary between early morning with a start at 7am and finishing at 10pm.

Your Job
