Job summary

Health Service Executive is recruiting a Senior House Officer in Psychiatry for assignments across Louth Meath Mental Health Services, within the HSE Dublin and North East region. The post is fixed term and will involve travel to various locations in Louth, Meath, and surrounding areas.

Applicants must have current IETS/OET certification, be registered with the Medical Council of Ireland, and have prior Psychiatry experience. Interview dates are planned for November/December 2026.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in Psychiatry
• Driving required - own transport is essential as the post may require frequent travel
• IETS/OET Certificate must be current (English Language Requirements Circular 063/2020)
• NCHD must be registered in the Medical Council of Ireland
