Job summary

MCC Label in Drogheda, Ireland is seeking a Folding Operator to set up, adjust and run the folding machine, ensuring quality and productivity while adhering to safety policies.

You will handle glue systems, perform machine changeovers, label and dispatch jobs, and carry out routine quality checks and preventative maintenance to keep equipment at peak performance.

• Follow quality procedures and SOPs and perform quality checks during runs
• Complete maintenance and preventive maintenance on machines
• Complete machine set ups and changeovers
• Troubleshoot machines and resolve issues where possible
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Job Summary

The successful candidate will set up, adjust, and run the folding machine in a manner that meets or exceeds quality and productivity standards while maintaining personal safety in accordance with company policies and procedures. The operator must ensure that they meet the customer specifications and the department production standards.

Principal Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Set up and run folding machines
• Work with various glue system
• Operate various format folding machines including set up and running the machine
• Package & label Jobs for dispatch
• Follow qualityprocedures & SOP's - perform quality checks throughout runs
• Complete maintenance of the machines and perform scheduled PMs on machines to ensure optimum performance
• Complete machine set ups and changeovers
• Complete machine troubleshooting and resolve issues where possible
• Any other duties and responsibilities management deem appropriate from time to time

Education & Experience

• Similar experience desirable but not essential
