Job summary

Bayside Health is seeking a Grade 2 Prosthetist to join the Amputee Rehabilitation Service at Caulfield Hospital. The role focuses on prosthetic care, clinical excellence, and collaboration with physiotherapy, occupational therapy and medical staff.

You will manage a diverse caseload for VALP and NDIS participants, lead clinic sessions, and contribute to quality assurance in prosthetic devices within a public health setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics.
• Membership of the Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association.
• Clinical experience including treating limb deficient patients.
• Ability to run a clinic autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Provide prosthetic care in a hospital setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain high clinical standards.
• Manage a diverse caseload including VALP and NDIS patients.
• Lead and supervise clinical tasks within the prosthetic department.
