Job summary

Guerbet is seeking an experienced Projects (Energy) Engineer to support energy initiatives across the Dublin site. The role involves driving energy reduction projects from concept through design, construction, start-up and validation while coordinating outsourced engineers when needed.

You will provide EHS-related technical guidance on energy topics and contribute to decarbonisation strategy development and deployment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading energy reduction projects in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to manage CAPEX projects across concept to validation phases.
• Collaborative with EHS teams to align energy and decarbonisation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Leads implementation of energy reduction projects on the Dublin site through Engineering to achieve strategic goals.
• Provides technical support to EHS on energy topics to support decarbonisation strategy.
• Advises on energy reduction best practices to the site EHS manager.
• Supports site LT in developing long-term alternative energy options.
• Leads general CAPEX project implementations to meet company goals.
• Performs other assignments as required by the business.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an experienced Projects (Energy)Engineer to support implementation of the site’s energy initiatives. To support the Engineering Department in delivering solutions to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. Manages projects from small and medium to large engineering projects related to the manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients. Involvement typically runs from conception through design, construction, start-up and validation. Directs the project activities of outsourced engineers and designers where required.

YOUR ROLE:

• Leads implementation of approved energy reduction projects on the Dublin site through Engineering department to deliver company and site strategic goals. (This includes concept, design and implementation phases)


• Provides technical support to EHS manager on Energy related topics to support Decarbonisation strategy development and deployment.


• Provides EHS manager with guidance on energy reduction best practice.


• Supports site LT in developing long term alternative energy options.


• Leads implementation of general CAPEX projects to deliver company and site strategic goals. (This includes concept, design and implementation phases)
