Job summary

Kilcawley Construction is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to oversee the commercial aspects of allocated projects. You will ensure cost control, procurement, and interim/final accounts are managed professionally under the guidance of a Contracts Manager.

You will work with the Kilcawley Project Team, monitor project commercial plans, maintain variation folders, and prepare subcontractor payment certificates while leveraging MS Office, Cubit, and Buildsoft where required.

Qualifications

• Degree Educated in Quantity Surveying with Some Post Graduate Experience.
• Strong knowledge on Technical Construction Details
• Must be very organised and have excellent time management skills.
• Must have excellent verbal, written, communication, presentation, and IT skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

As Project Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of the project designated to you under their remit are properly managed and controlled, and that commercial strategy is developed and delivered in accordance with the requirements of the business.

The Project Quantity Surveyor will under the guidance of a Contracts Manager/Managing QS.

Your Main Duties

• Carry out all Quantity Surveying duties including measurement, procurement, cost monitoring, cost control, cost reporting, preparation of interim payments and settlement of final accounts in a professional manner


• Maintain Project Variation Folders to include all Variations


• Preparation of Internal Subcontractor Payment Certificates.
