Job summary

Fohntech Group in Dublin is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the team and drive the technical and engineering aspects of assigned projects. You will plan, schedule, predict and manage technical tasks from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, resources and quality.

The role requires 3–5 years' experience in process mechanical / pipework, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Navisworks, Primavera and CAD/BIM workflows.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience with a recognized mechanical/contractor in process mechanical / pipework.
• Excellent organizational and project planning skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Excellent negotiation, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in Navisworks and BIM-related software.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering requirements through managing & liaising with key project stakeholders.
• Familiarisation with design/IFC specs and drawings to understand scope.
• Coordinate to transform design information into installation drawings by BIM personnel.
• Ensure engineering activities support the construction schedule (procurement, etc).
• Create and issue technical submittals and track approvals.
• Engage vendors for technical support and value engineering.
