Job summary

Expleo is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to direct end-to-end HRIS/WFM implementations across multi-country environments. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage vendors, and guide key business users through complex transformations such as UKG Pro and Kronos.

You will drive project delivery within budgets, schedules, and quality targets, ensuring robust RAID management and successful data migrations, integrations, and reporting across HRIS, payroll, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience in Business/IT or related field.
• 8+ years of project/programme management experience delivering complex transformations.
• Proven delivery of large HRIS/WFM implementations (UKG Pro, Kronos, Workday WFM etc.).
• Experience leading multi-country/global delivery programmes and cross-functional teams.

Job description

Overview

You will direct and manage the full project lifecycle, setting standards for assignments and applications. This role is focused on the successful delivery of large-scale HRIS / Workforce Management (WFM) implementations, often across multi-country or global environments.

You will be responsible for delivering defined work packages to the client, providing effective leadership to cross-functional and distributed teams, and guiding key business users. A critical aspect of this role is the ability to drive complex business transformations, working closely with system integrators, vendors, and senior stakeholders in fast-paced, high-volume operational environments such as retail, hospitality, or logistics.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies and direct teams, ensuring that project deliverables are completed within agreed cost, timescale, and resource budgets, and are formally signed off.
• Take full accountability for the definition, approach, facilitation, and successful completion of large-scale HRIS / WFM system implementations (e.g., UKG Pro, Kronos, Workday WFM).
• Lead multi-country or global delivery programmes, ensuring consistency of approach while accommodating regional requirements.
• Manage cross-functional teams, third-party system integrators, and vendors to ensure seamless delivery and alignment across all workstreams.
• Facilitate scoping and business priority setting for complex transformations, engaging senior stakeholders and driving decision-making in challenging environments.
• Operate within high-volume workforce environments(e.g., retail, hospitality, logistics), ensuring solutions address shift-based scheduling, seasonal demand fluctuations, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure strong RAID management (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)throughout the project lifecycle, proactively identifying and mitigating delivery risks.
• Oversee data migration, integration, and reporting workstreams, including integrations with payroll, HRIS, and ERP systems.
• Demonstrate the use of structured, iterative methodologies; manage scope changes, communicate impacts clearly, and secure approvals when needed.
• Maintain realistic and robust project plans using standard tools (e.g., MS Project), ensuring regular and transparent communication to all stakeholders.
• Use metrics and reporting to assess project success and make necessary adjustments.
• Identify, quantify, and manage issues impacting delivery, ensuring clear prioritisation and resolution pathways.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and project post-mortems to drive continuous improvement and best practice adoption.
• Ensure delivery of projects on time and within budget, while contributing to forecasting, financial management, and resource planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Desirable:

• Project Management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP)
• Agile certifications (e.g., Scrum, SAFe)
• UKG or relevant HR/WFM system certifications

Experience

• 8+ years' project/programme management experience, with a strong track record of delivering complex transformation programmes.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale HRIS / Workforce Management implementations.
• Hands-on experience with UKG Pro, Kronos, or similar WFM platforms(essential).
• Experience delivering multi-country or global programmes.
• Strong background in retail, hospitality, or logistics environments, particularly those with high employee volumes and shift-based operations.
• Demonstrated experience managing:
• Cross-functional teams
• System integrators and external vendors
• Complex business transformation initiatives
• Strong understanding of:
• Workforce management systems (UKG, Kronos, Workday WFM, Oracle WFM)
• System integrations (HRIS, payroll, ERP)
• Data migration and reporting solutions
• Understanding of labour compliance and payroll processesis advantageous.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong experience in RAID management, financial tracking, and resource planning.
• Proven ability to drive decisions, solve complex problems, and influence across distributed/global teams.
