Responsibilities
  • Deliver end-to-end telco network projects involving IP/MPLS backbone upgrades, LAN/WAN integration, or network transformation.
  • Manage project lifecycle from initiation through design, build, test, and deployment.
  • Coordinate with network architecture, engineering, and service delivery teams to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee vendor and third-party management (e.g. equipment suppliers, managed service partners).
  • Maintain detailed project governance including RAID logs, dependencies, budgets, and change controls.
  • Produce and present project status reports and dashboards to senior stakeholders and program boards.
  • Ensure network migrations and transitions are planned and executed with minimal customer impact.
  • Support operational handover and acceptance into service.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience delivering telecommunications network projects, ideally within Tier-1/Tier-2 carrier, ISP, or managed network provider environments.
  • Strong technical awareness of:
    • IP/MPLS routing and core network architecture
    • LAN/WAN technologies (Ethernet, SD-WAN, VPNs, QoS, resilience, etc.)
    • Network rollout or upgrade programs (core, access, or enterprise connectivity)
  • Experience managing multi-site or national-scale network deployments.
  • Demonstrable vendor and stakeholder management across technical and commercial teams.
  • Familiarity with OSS/BSS integration or service activation processes (desirable).
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Smartsheet.
  • Knowledge of carrier-class equipment (e.g. Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, Huawei).
Certifications & Qualifications
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner or PMP (Project Management Professional) certification (required).
  • Agile or Scrum certification (desirable).
  • Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience.
