Job summary

Greenvolt Next Ireland is seeking an experienced Civils Project Manager to lead civil engineering works on utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across Ireland. You will manage civils activities from pre-construction through to project completion, ensuring safety, schedule, budget and quality standards are met.

The role requires a degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, five years’ experience, and strong leadership with excellent stakeholder

Qualifications

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline is required.
  • Chartered status or active progression toward accreditation is preferred.
  • Temporary Works Coordinator training is desirable.
  • Minimum five years' experience managing civil/infra projects.
  • Understanding of construction programmes, subcontractor management and project controls.
  • Experience delivering renewable-energy, utility or power-infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of NEC4, FIDIC or EPC contracts.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Full, clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Manage civils works across multiple renewable energy projects.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, consultants, and suppliers.
  • Monitor programme progress and drive timely project delivery.
  • Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to project requirements.
  • Support project handover and close-out activities.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets and forecasts.
  • Review subcontractor applications, variations and change management.
  • Identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
  • Support contractual correspondence and commercial reporting.
  • Promote a strong safety culture across all projects.
  • Ensure compliance with procedures, legislation and industry standards.
  • Review RAMS and construction methodologies.
  • Support audits, inspections and quality assurance processes.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.
  • Attend and lead progress meetings as required.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders.

Greenvolt Next Ireland is seeking an experienced Civils Project Manager to lead the delivery of civil engineering works on utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across Ireland.

The successful candidate will manage civils activities from pre-construction through to project completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Accountabilities
Project Delivery
  • Manage civils works across multiple renewable energy projects.
