Job summary

Harper Finley Professional Recruitment seeks an experienced Project Delivery Manager for its Irish wastewater delivery team. You will drive multiple infrastructure projects across the Southeast and Midlands, coordinating with the Wastewater Projects Manager to upgrade treatment works and networks.

You will provide operational support to site teams, review designs, manage programmes, and maintain commercial control while ensuring compliance with Irish and UK standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management within water/wastewater.
• Strong knowledge of Irish/UK water industry standards.
• Experience delivering wastewater infrastructure projects, including network upgrades or treatment works.
• Experience on Uisce Éireann projects is highly desirable.
• Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of costs, programmes and scope.
• Experience coordinating site supervisors, engineers, subcontractors and client representatives.
• Relevant academic or technical qualification desirable.
• Full clean driving licence essential.

Job description

An established and growing Irish civil engineering and infrastructure business is seeking an experienced Project Delivery Manager to join its dedicated wastewater delivery team. Working closely with the Wastewater Projects Manager, you will support the successful delivery of multiple infrastructure projects across the Southeast and Midlands. This hands-on role offers significant responsibility across wastewater treatment upgrades, network improvements and Uisce Éireann infrastructure projects in both urban and rural environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects from planning and mobilisation through to completion, ensuring delivery in line with programme, budget, scope and quality requirements.
• Provide operational and technical support to Site Supervisors, Engineers and wider project teams.
• Review design solutions for constructability and identify potential delivery challenges.
• Develop and manage project programmes, resource plans and schedules.
• Monitor performance, resolve issues relating to cost, resources, scope and scheduling, and maintain commercial control.
• Build strong working relationships with clients, Uisce Éireann representatives, subcontractors, consultants and other stakeholders.
• Prepare regular progress reports, communicating project status, risks and key issues to management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with relevant Irish and UK water and wastewater standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Project Management, Delivery Management, Construction Management or a similar role within the water/wastewater sector.
• Strong water and wastewater experience and knowledge of Irish or UK industry standards are essential.
• Experience delivering wastewater infrastructure projects, particularly network upgrades or treatment works.
• Previous experience on Uisce Éireann projects is highly desirable.
• Strong commercial awareness, with an understanding of project costs, programmes and scope.
