Job summary

NovintiX is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive a major manufacturing improvement programme within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical/medical device environment. You will coordinate schedules, budgets, stakeholders and external vendors to minimise disruption while delivering milestones.

The role requires 5+ years in capital projects, equipment installation, validation or manufacturing improvements, with strong cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Life Sciences with strong project management experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years delivering capital projects, equipment installation, validation, or manufacturing improvements in GMP environments.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of projects within scope, schedule and budget.
  • Define project scope and maintain the project schedule.
  • Report progress to stakeholders and manage project risks.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Operations to optimize process layouts and floor space.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a major manufacturing improvement programme involving aged asset replacement, equipment decommissioning, cross-validation, and the introduction of new cleaning systems within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical/medical device environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating project activities, managing schedules, budgets, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure project milestones are achieved while minimising production disruption and supporting engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project. The Project Manager is responsible to the project stakeholders for delivering a project's objectives within scope, schedule, cost, and quality. To define and clarify project scope while developing and maintaining the project schedule. Ownership for managing and reporting project progress Work closely with cross-functional team to drive successful project implementation. Actively engage with Manufacturing Operations to evaluate existing process layouts in terms of new process integration, ensuring best utilization of floor space, minimized handling and optimum process flow Participate in the selection, training and performance appraisal process of project resources, including temporary contract SMEs as required Responsible for identifying, monitoring, and appropriately managing project risk and liaise with broader NPD, Design, AO (Advanced operations) team on common NPI issues and resolutions. As well as organizing shared services as required, CAD, Metrology, experimental. Establishment of priorities, imparting a sense of urgency and importance to the team while using project management tools and techniques to support the delivery of new products per cost and time commit

Skills Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Life Sciences, or a related discipline. Minimum 5+ years of Project Management experience delivering capital projects, equipment installation, validation, or manufacturing improvement projects within a GMP-regulated Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences environment.
