Job summary

A leading construction firm in Dublin is seeking a Project Engineer to provide technical advice and support the project management team. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in a similar role, proven project experience in civil engineering, and proficiency in GPS and software tools like AutoCAD and Revit. Qualifications

  • 7+ years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience with a main contractor.
  • Project experience on RC frame, commercial, and residential projects.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager by providing technical advice.
  • Liaise daily with the project team and subcontractors.
  • Implement QA procedures for concrete checks.
  • Monitor and record materials and logistics.
  • Maintain accurate records and produce reports.

Project Engineer

Dublin

€75-85k + Package

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Project Manager and wider team by providing technical advice on the project
  • Liaise daily with the project team, design team, and subcontractors
  • Perform technical verification of civil engineering designs, models, and drawings
  • Implement QA procedures, including concrete pre- and post-pour checks, RFIs, and resolution of technical issues
  • Assist in maintaining and monitoring safe working practices on site
  • Monitor and record materials, plant, and logistics
  • Maintain accurate records and produce regular reports
Requirements
  • Relevant third-level degree
  • 7+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience with a main contractor
  • Project experience on RC frame, commercial and residential.
  • Proficient in the use of GPS, robotic total stations, and levelling equipment (essential)
  • Excellent IT skills, with knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office
