Hawk's Well Theatre in Sligo invites applications for a Programme Assistant (The Model Art Galley). This is a DSP Community Employment Scheme trainee position offering accredited training and development opportunities in visual art and community engagement.

Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

The Model is recruiting a trainee position under the DSP Community Employment Scheme The Model is seeking a Programme Assistant to assist across our Visual Art and Engagement departments. The candidate will work closely with team to provide administrative support for all aspects of our programme, lead tours, monitor displays, support the management of our collection, and assist with workshops. Experience in working with children or community groups would be an advantage. A strong interest or educational background in the Arts is desirable but not essential. Training will be provided to the successful candidate. Good communication, organisation and computer skills are key to the role.
