Bentley Systems is seeking a Program Manager to lead a large, complex program in a hybrid Dublin setting. You will plan and manage multiple projects, align client expectations, assemble teams, assign responsibilities, and develop schedules to ensure timely delivery.

• 7+ years in senior project/ program management for high-risk/complex projects.
• PMP/PgMP certification preferred.
• Degree related to Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Information Management or Computer Science preferred.
• Experience with fixed-price and T&M contracts.
• Strong client relationship, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of digital engineering and digital transformation.

Position Summary:

The role of the Program Manager is to plan and manage multiple projects within a large, complex program of work. They are responsible for understanding/managing the client expectations, assembling the project team(s), assigning individual responsibilities, identifying the required resources and developing the schedule to ensure timely completion of the projects. The Program Manager ensures adherence to quality standards and internal Bentley Systems processes and methodologies and alignment to customer processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage client relations.
• Analyze and interpret customer needs.
• Prepare scope of work/s and execution plans to ensure complete clarity across all required functions within Bentley Systems.
• Maintain a complete plan for the whole program of work and for individual projects.
• Report status, risks, and actions at project and program level, both internally and to the customers.
• Manage all projects achieving baseline man-hour estimate, plus approved/agreed changes, and are on or ahead of baseline schedule (including approved schedule changes)
• Define the resources needed to effectively execute the projects.
• Ensure proper and regular use and maintenance of the Enterprise Project Management System.
• Agree on project success and acceptance criteria with all involved parties.
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using change management procedures.
• Manage stakeholders (internal and external) through effectively communicating project plans, progress, expectations, risks, assumptions and dependencies in a timely and clear fashion throughout the project.
• Manage assumptions, dependencies and constraints.
• Identify and manage risks through mitigation and contingency planning.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team, and elevate as required.
• Ensure that revenue forecasts are updated weekly for all active projects.
• Provide accurate support for all invoicing, checking the invoices are correct before sending to the user; perform accurate revenue recognition (accruals/release from deferral)
• Conduct project lessons learned and share the output with others.
• Provide influence into the client organization and strategic advice on best ways of delivering change.
• Act as mentor to project managers and project coordinators.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years’ work experience as a Senior Project Manager involving high-risk or complex projects
• Project / Program management certification required (PMP/PgMP preferred)
• Degree and/or Higher National qualifications related to Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Information Management or Computer Science or AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) preferred
• Experience with different commercial arrangements e.g. fixed price and T&M projects
• Highly experienced in business development, stakeholder engagement and communication with clients at all levels of the organization
• Detailed knowledge of digital engineering and digital transformation and how it can add value and efficiencies to existing processes and practices
• A proven track record of leading the delivery of technology solutions programs to organizations operating in the Built Environment
