The Dublin Dental University Hospital invites applications for Academic Consultant (Professor of) Special Care Dentistry, a permanent, pensionable, full-time appointment. The appointee will provide clinical and academic leadership across education, training, and research in Special Care Dentistry and oversee existing programmes within Trinity College Dublin.

Qualificações

• Must hold current statutory registration as a dentist in Ireland or be eligible for registration.
• Intercollegiate Specialty Fellowship in Special Care Dentistry or equivalent qualification.
• Significant track record in leadership, teaching and research in Special Care Dentistry.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical and academic leadership in Special Care Dentistry.
• Develop and manage clinical, education/training and research areas.
• Lead undergraduate and postgraduate education and CPD in Special Care Dentistry.
• Coordinate and lead the postgraduate doctoral programme and CPD.
• Engage in strategic planning, resource management and quality improvement.
