Job summary

Crewit Resourcing Limited is seeking an experienced HGV driver in Ireland. The role requires 1–3 years of driving experience and a licence equivalent to CE or C1E, with on‑the‑job training provided. You will operate cargo trucks across urban and rural routes, prioritise safety, and maintain records.

The position includes full‑time hours, a 39‑hour work week, and compensation aligned with market standards. Garda compliance and road transport regulations are essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of HGV driving experience required.
• Licence CE or C1E recognised by RSA or equivalent authority.
• No minimum academic requirements; on‑the‑job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGVs and load/unload cargo.
• Deliver goods to locations on time and in good condition.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report maintenance needs.
• Comply with EU and Irish transport laws (tachograph and hours).
• Maintain delivery records and logs.
• Communicate with customers, dispatchers and team members to resolve issues.
• Follow safety protocols for hazardous materials when applicable.
• Ensure cargo security during transit.
• Interpret traffic signals and plan routes using GPS/maps.
• Supervise loading/unloading and manage parking and delays.
