Noel Group are currently partnered with a Global Manufacturing company who currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Production Supervisor for their Manufacturing department. This role is essential in ensuring that production schedules are met, quality standards are upheld, and a collaborative team environment is fostered. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Staffing and Production Management:
  • Collaborate with other area supervisors and team leads to manage and prioritize staffing assignments to meet customer demand and production schedules.
  • Ensure continuous supply of components to the production line by communicating with stores and purchasing areas
  • Liaise with outside suppliers for processing of parts
  • Meet all production targets as outlined by KPIs and populate target boards to monitor daily progress.
  • Address and resolve issues affecting production, including quality, performance, processes, equipment, materials, and labour.
  • Coordinate staff planned absences (annual leave, unpaid leave, planned appointments)
  • Produce monthly reviews and quarterly reviews as required working closely with HR
  • Provide and/or organise training and provide records to HR
Team Leadership and Development:
  • Direct team members to foster a multifunctional team environment with flexibility to cover all roles.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving equipment and hardware issues.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to align on targets, address assembly line issues, and promote a solution-focused work area.
  • Drive a positive, can-do attitude within the team, emphasizing teamwork and high standards.
Quality Assurance:
  • Communicate quality requirements and standards to the team, ensuring adherence to documented policies and procedures.
  • Complete required documentation related to business or regulatory requirements.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Support and identify continuous improvement efforts with the Production Supervisor and Management teams.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions and ensure an FOD-free environment.
  • Update production metrics and facilitate regular team communication to drive improvements.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with prior leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to address issues proactively and effectively.
  • Ability to follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and documentation standards in a manufacturing setting.
