Job description
Production Planner

Noel Group is proud to represent a leading manufacturing organisation that is currently seeking an experienced Production Planner to join their expanding team in Shannon, Co Clare. This role is central to maintaining efficient production operations and requires someone with a strong background in fast paced, multinational manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain the production schedule using the company ERP system
  • Balance workloads to maximise productivity, efficiency, and output
  • Work closely with Customer Service to ensure all committed delivery dates are achieved
  • Prioritise and manage customer escalations to avoid delays or de commitments
  • Liaise with Purchasing and Warehousing to confirm materials and shipments arrive on time
  • Communicate with Warehouse and Quality teams to prioritise urgent incoming deliveries
  • Monitor Incoming Inspection to ensure all parts are inspected within 48 hours
  • Adjust the schedule as required to respond to machine downtime or production issues
  • Identify stalled orders in Work in Progress and drive timely resolution with all relevant teams
  • Oversee Outside Processing suppliers to ensure they meet delivery timelines
  • Release orders from Finished Goods locations on schedule
  • Develop strong proficiency in the Access ERP system
Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in production planning, supply chain, or a similar operations based role, ideally within manufacturing
  • Strong organisational and problem solving skills with a proactive approach
  • Excellent communication skills with proven cross functional collaboration
  • Ability to perform well in a fast paced environment while managing competing priorities
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, ideally Access ERP (beneficial but not essential)
